New element of your account are settings for email notifications on profile page. As you can see there are Twitter settings also, but right now that is still in development.
You can selected if you want daily emails or weekly digest. Also, you can set if you want to receive HTML or plain text emails. And you can disable notifications if you want. All this is on the profile page. Emails will contain lists of published posts with short excerpts and releases.
Twitter notifications will be added next week.
