This time I will write more about two very important tools that are part of the GD Press Tools plugin. First one is Auto Tagger that will automatically tag posts using Yahoo content service. Second is the Cron Scheduler, and this panel shows all registered cron jobs and allows you to delete or execute each job.
This is a tool that will be interesting for all blogs that have many posts and not many tags for them, or you have many posts without tags, and you want to add them. In every case when adding tags for each post individually is not an option, this auto tagger will do all the dirty job for you running in the background as the cron job.
There are several options you can set before starting job. You can tag post and/or pages. You can set the maximum number of tags to be added for each post. And you can specify the post id range to process. This is important for big blogs, because Yahoo allows maximum of 5000 API calls per day, and each post is a single API call.
Bellow options you will find the status of the last job or the currently running job. Also, you can always stop the process using Stop button in the status area while the job is running. Process is fast, and for some 5000 posts it takes about 3 hours.
This panel shows all  jobs WordPress is running in the background, and includes both one-time jobs and scheduled jobs. You can run each of them or delete them. But, some jobs can’t be deleted from here, because WordPress will add them back again.
OK, that’s it for now, more posts coming soon.
