xScape framework has many built in features. Among them are widgets, and there are 8 widgets that will be part of the first release. Some of these widgets will be available only in premium version of the framework. So, here is the list of widgets and descriptions.
Recent PostsThis is simple widget that gives more control over the recent posts: category to get posts from and number of posts. Displayed widget will include info about category, author and post date. FlickrAdd number of thumbnails from you Flicker account profile or images group. You can set the number of images to show (10 is max allowed by Flicker API) and sorting. NetworksAnother simple widget that will display icons/buttons to your social networks profiles. You can set your profiles through the framework control panel. These profiles include most popular: twitter, facebook, flickr, stumbleupon and others. Styles (Premium only)This widget ads drop down list with theme styles. Users and visitors can select style from the list and blog will immediately use it and save it as a cookie to reuse later. |
This widget can get your latest statuses from Twitter. You can set number of statuses and also the header with image and account name. Single AdThis widget allows you to add new ad block. You can add full code like the one used by Google or normal banner image and link. FeedburnerWith this one you can add email subscription form for your Feedburner feed and also feedburner URL. You can control the text displayed with the form. Tabber (Premium only)This is very, very cool widget that is very hard to make easy to use. None of the existing tabber widgets is user friendly and easy to configure, but we have found a very unique way of adding it. You can add any widget you want, and you can add as many of them as you want. Widget will automatically make tabs and put all widgets you elected in it. |
