Halloween is a week away, and it is a great time to organize a treasure hunt on Dev4Press with a chance to find and win plugins and themes lifetime licenses or find discount coupons you can use during this treasure hunt. Hunt is starting today and it will end on November 7 2011.
Halloween Award Badge
For this year Halloween, Dev4Press website is changed a bit visually, and this is a great chance to organize a treasure hunt. Over the next 15 days, on a random pages website will display awards in the sidebar areas. There will be total of 55 awards spread over this period.
Each award will be displayed only once, but they are very easy to notice. You can see example award badge on the image on the right. If you get the discount coupon award, write it down, that same coupon will not appear again. And if you get the products license, click on the link to claim the award, and that link will take you to the form where you can fill your information.
Awards in the treasure hunt:
- 10 lifetime licenses. If you find this award, you need to fill the form and select which plugin (or 2 themes) you want to get. As soon we process your form, you will get the selected award.
- 45 discount coupons. Each coupon can be used for only one purchase and each coupon will appear only once on the website. Coupons can be used until the end of November 2011.
The rules are simple:
- The more you browse through Dev4Press website, the more chance you get to find an award.
- Awards can appear on any website page with the exception of the front page.
- One user or visitor can win only one award, and to make sure of that, we will track IP’s used.
- If we detect any sort of cheating we reserve the right to ban the IP used and to void the award.
- Abnormal number of visits from same IP will also cause ban for the IP and void of the award.
- You can give your discount coupon to someone else, but each coupon will be usable only once.

A pity it did not do as well as you wanted. I guess some things work and others don’t and when it takes a lot of time to set up as I can imagine this did then it makes sense to learn and walk away.
