xScape Framework And Core 1.8.3

New xScape Theme Framework and xScape Core theme 1.8.3 brings many important changes and new features: new shortcodes and many improvements to them, new and improved gMap This module, footer content improvements, new gdr2 library and many other changes.

Very important new feature is change in the themes activation, that will prevent direct activation of xScape Core theme with the message about it and reactivation of the default theme to prevent issues like the white screen after activation and leaving the website non-functional.

gMap This module has been almost rewritten. New GMap3 library is now using Google Maps V3, so there is no need for Maps API key. All options are the same as before, but many of the small issues old library had are now gone.

Shortcodes are improved to use base class from gdr2 library. New shortcodes are added for BR tag and quick access tag to limit visibility of parts of the post to certain user roles or users with some specific capability. Each existing shortcode also has support for the access attributes. Link (Button) shortcode has additional color styles and changed rendering to allow for more flexibility for styling.

Other changes include: inclusion of favicon on login page, additional elements for the footer content, Share This widget now works with any type of page (including archives, post types or home page), menu designer supports GD Products Center link to products home, minor improvements and fixes to the framework core files.
