Dev4Press Updater

Dev4Press Updater is a plugin that can be used to update installed products (plugins or themes) and to install new products, based on the API key provided.

1. Updater

Dev4Press auto update plugin allows you to perform automatic updates of Pro plugins and premium themes you use on your websites just like WordPress does for free plugins and themes from its own repository. For this you need valid licenses and API key from your user profile.

2. Installer

Same plugin can be used to install plugins or themes you have licenses for directly without downloading them manually. All available plugins and themes based on the license or licenses you have, that are not already installed, will be displayed on the separate Install New panel.

3. Update limits

You can use updater plugin on all your website with valid license and it will work without any issues. But, in moments when the server is under high load and becomes unresponsive, we reserve the right to limit and temporarily disable auto update until server returns to normal. This will cause no problem to updater plugin or affect its functioning.

4. Auto update process

Plugin checks twice a day for new versions of the products you have licenses for. With each check, updater sends versions of the Dev4Press plugins and themes you have installed, version of your WordPress and URL to the website. This is less than the data sent by WordPress to WordPress.org. By using updater plugin, you agree to send this data.
