Here is another very important release of xScape with many improvements for custom post types and custom taxonomies, improved recent posts widget, excerpt function, menu designer and number of bugs are now fixed including some layout manager issues.
One of the reasons I created xScape Framework was to integrate things that I think belong into the theme and should be easy to control. Second reason was to create detailed and easy to use control panel that will minimize the need for constant code changes. But there is more.
A very important xScape Theme Framework version 1.4.5 is now released, adding several great features (theme upgrade control and improved support for custom post types). All themes are updated. LightScape contains several minor fixes to the styles.
There were few bugs in lightScape causing problems with footer widgets, and they are fixed now with 1.0.4 version. Problems were caused due to missing default widgets for front widgets area and with invalid default assignment of sidebars to widget areas.
New xScape is now ready, and all themes are updated with this latest version. Facebook module gt new widget for displaying activity stream, and few things are fixed and improved. Most changes this time are with the latest lightScape theme.
Few bugs were found in the first release of lightScape, and here is the first update to the theme with bug fixes. lightScape and airScape themes are both updated to include new xScape Theme Framework 1.4.3. airScape also features few updates and fixes.
Theme number 5 is now released. This is feature packed theme called lightScape, with 14 color styles, different footer configurations, features posts sliders, top header with another menu, adjustable content background transparency and much more.
xScape Theme Framework 1.4.2 is released and all themes updated with it. This time framework includes fixes but also 2 very interesting and important features: uploading avatar and using WordPress media manager to assign images instead of uploading them.
I managed to make lightScape working, and the beta version is now on the xScape.info demo website. Theme is not yet completed, and in the next week more styles (15-16) will be added, styling for elements improved. So, test it and leave suggestions in comments or forum.
