Page templates in xScape Framework Themes are working the same way as with any other theme. But, creating template is a bit different. As with all other templates, template has two files: one is loaded by WP, and other one is actual content of the page template.
Layouts Manager uses master template for settings that are shared among different templates. This makes changing settings across templates easier. Master template is not used directly, but only to get settings for other templates that are set to use master settings.
Menu designer allows you to create menus with custom elements that can include pages, categories, taxonomies, links, external URL’s… You can arrange them, set different properties and you can create as many menus as you want. Here is how this panel works.
Installation of themes based on xScape theme framework is easy and not much different from regular themes. First activated, theme will try to set everything automatically, but that can fail, and than you will get the error report with the link to the solution.
Tabber is very easy to use widget that will turn the whole sidebar and all widgets in it into a single widget where all individual widgets will be placed into tabs. This widget doesn’t require any special coding, you only need to select sidebar to use as source.
gMap This is easy to use module within the xScape Theme Framework that you can use to add Google Maps to your posts. You can set various parameters including adding marker with a note to mark the location you are posting about or you have traveled to.
