It is useful sometimes to prevent regular users/subscribers or some other user roles from access WordPress admin side. If you build user pages as a part of website front end, you can use GD Press Tools Pro to prevent admin side access.
This is quite easy to set up. Open GD Press Tools Pro Settings panel. Than, open Administration tab, and on this tab find Administration Redirect options. This looks like this:
First checkbox activate this redirection. Than, you need to select user roles you want to redirect. After that, you need to set up targets for redirection. There are 3 targets you can set. Each target can be full URL or post/page ID. First, or general redirect target is usually your website URL. Second is for dashboard and third for user profile. So, if a user that is to be redirected, tries to access wp-admin/profile.php, he will get redirected to a third target (on the image above, that is post with ID 9). If a target is not defined, plugin will try general target first, and if that is not set, it will redirect to your website home page.
