By default, WordPress has support for many theme templates that are used to display different data: posts, archives, pages… There is a limited number of these single post or date based archives. With this plugin that changes.
New options to add more templates are active by default, and you can find options for this on the GD Custom Posts And Taxonomies Tools Pro Settings panel:
First option will add archives for post types that use type- as prefix. Second option adds post based templates that use slug name and post ID. With these templates you can have fully customized templates for one specific post. And third option adds many more date based templates that are combination of year, month and day. By default WordPress has only one template for all date based archives. New template will allow you to have date template for a specific year: date-2010.php.
For full list of templates added with these 3 options, check out the tutorial here.
