I have the GD Press Tools PRO and the Toxiconomie tools (not pro yet)

My site I am pushing right now is http://ande-blogs.com/music it is mostly a music niche for affiliate marketing with lots of posts included.

Hello, I am in the process of converting my movie based website to wordpress and I think GD Custom posts and taxonomies tool would help me a lot.

I do have a question regarding the pro version before I decide to buy it:

Would users visiting my site be able to sort posts based on the taxonomies? For example by certain year, actor etc.?

That would be great and would also diminish the need for adding genre categories.

Here’s an example:

A user goes to the Movies category and there are hundreds of posts inside.
So I was wondering if on that page he would be somehow able to sort them by year (if I had that taxonomy)?

I also presume if I had genre entries then I could somehow have on the movie page some sort of genre selections based on these taxonomies?

Am just trying to figure out the best way to have things organized for a new website start. As it’s for specific movies I’m trying to have the basics covered so the users can choose things easily (like year, genre or some other factor).Sorry if I’m not very clear, been a while since I worked on my site and am kind of out of loop.

How do you get average text rating of multi-ratings?

I have been searching the internet for 2 months now and got nowhere, i cant find support for this anywhere?

I have multi-ratings within the comments – i just want to get an average rating in there and then an overall average rating at the top?

Please hope you can help, any tips, anything? I have tried T2 Templates, then adding this >

<div class=”ratingbadge-editor”>%RATING_TEXT%</div>

into the comments.php but…nothing.

Thanks for the reply, which tutorials would i need to look at to help me achieve what im after? Ive managed to get the comments integration done. Its just working out how to get the average votes for the comments rating and overall rating.

Am i correct in thinking >

- Duplicate Standard Ratings Block [SRB] and Standard Ratings Text [SRT] in the T2 templates
- Add the template as default with the tags and divs like >

<div align=”center” class=”ratingbadge-grade”>%RATING%</div><div align=”center” class=”ratingbadge-voted”>%VOTES% VOTES</div>

- Add css in themes stylesheet
- Then go in to builder and generate the function for the T2 template?
- Add the function within comments.php where needed?

I understand that, not a problem. I dont think im too far off, just need the average text vote of the rating.

Regarding premium support, it says Recurring payments every 3 months of 15euro, what if you only need the support for 2months can you then cancel so you dont keep getting charged?

I dont think my issue is a big one, you would probably be able to solve it in no time.

You can cancel any time you want, if you cancel after 2 months, you still can use remaining one month you payed for. As for the multis tab, check options on the first tab where multi ratings can be activated or deactivated.
