Amazon Web Services
You need Amazon AWS account and at least one associate account to use the plugin. You can have multiple accounts for each of the international Amazon websites.
Data Caching
All temporeraly download results from Amazon can be stored into cache for faster user later. You can use files, APC or XCache as a caching methdo, and you can control expiration.
Templates
To render products in posts or any WordPress templates, plugin uses gdT3 templates system. To help with integration, plugin can work with widgets, shortcodes or functions.
Search / Browse Options
Plugin support all 3 Amazon search methods: normal search, items lookup and browse node search. Each one has own set of options that will help you to narrow the results.
Search Results Grid
All results received from Amazon are displayed in a grid with all relevant information (including pricing) and color coded based on availablity or product in the database.
Results Controls
For each result in the grid you have various options. You can add data to local database for easier tracking and manipulation, attaching to posts and setting product flags.
Bookmarklet
To add products into database, you can use handly bookmarklet from any Amazon product page. It will find the product on the page and allow you to add it to database or create post.
Attaching to Posts
For each post, page or custom post type post you can attach any number of different products. You can generate shortcodes for adding products rendered through templates into post.
Dashboard Widget
To perform fast and simple search of any Amazon you have associated ID set, you can use dashboard widget. Just select Amazon, and add any number of keywords to get the results.
