Upcoming premium themes that will be based on xScape framework

We have started to develop two brand themes that will be a first step in creating and providing a wide range of themes that can be used for almost anything you want to do with your blog. All themes will be based on one, new and unique framework called xScape. This framework is going to offer many ways for easy customization of each theme, will have many different modules built inside and allow many different layouts.

First two themes will be for photo gallery and portfolio. They are still some time away from completion, but I will publish announcements and teasers over the next few months. Stay tuned for more.

Dev4Press offers number of premium plugins with wide range of features that will help you in daily use of your blog (great many tools in GD Press Tools), add many new highly customizable sidebar widgets (GD Simple Widgets), allow you expanding custom taxonomies support (with GD Taxonomies Tools) or maybe integrate and control advanced advertising system with banners, text links and more (GD Affiliate Center).

The list is not complete, and there are already two more new plugins in development. If you decide to purchase subscription licenses you will be able to direct further development and get most of it.

One of the biggest problems with free plugins you can find is that they offer very little if any support. And when things go wrong you don’t have a way to get help. If you are developer you can help yourself and fix the broken plugin. But if you are not developer, than that’s big problem. That’s why it’s important to get a choice of premium plugins that come with support including tutorials, support forum, documentation and more.

All that you will get here for a fraction of the price you would need to pay freelance developers to help you with the problem. And tutorials, documentation and forum will help you with all that.

Since some of the premium plugins are based on the previously free plugins. But, at one point, free versions became the lite editions and premium got many more new features over them. But, good news is that all free plugins are still in developement and that we intend to improve them and maintained in the future. These plugins also have own free support forum at forum.gdragon.info, and this forum is also maintained.

We plan to offer more free plugins in the future and to further improve with your suggestions existing plugins. And such suggestions for development are always welcome.

GD Star Rating is currently most popular and advanced rating plugin available for WordPress. And, our intentions are to provide this plugin as always for free. But, since plugin has a great deal of features, and can be complicated at times. So, we simply don’t have a time to provide full free support and help each and every one of you that uses the plugin. Until now I was offering direct premium support for specific projects.

But, now, you can subscribe for the premium support and use new forum or even email support and also gain access to additional templates and code examples going beyond standard use of the plugin.

All available products have different editions that allow you to pick one that is best from you. Most of the plugins have Lite or Free editions available, and you can download and use them for free. But, you can also purchase premium or Pro editions that offer much more options. Premium plugins include different forms of support, and even access to TRAC isse tracking system and SVN sources, and that’s something developers can find in handy.

When it comes to download, everyone can download free or lite versions of plugins. They are also available from the WordPress.org as before. But, for premium plugins you will be able to get regular development snapshots or so called nightly builds, archive of different old releases. Also, very soon, I will release exclusive update plugin that will be able to perform updated to premium plugins from this website just like WordPress does for free plugins.

Most important components of this website are different ways of support and help so that you can get better use of the plugins. Support is available for subscription based licenses and that include documentation (functions, examples, changelogs), tutorials (both text tutorials and videos), support forum (with daily overview), suggestions (influence development) and for developer licenses you even get email support.
