New Lite version is released with updates for WordPress 3.3 and improvements in plugin loading and optimization. There are some cosmetic changes in this version, minor changes in the core for registration of post types and taxonomies and improvements to readme file.
This is a bug fixing release, focusing on compatibility with latest WordPress 3.3 Beta and jQuery 1.7 and also fixing the issues with plugin exclusive enhanced features that are used to expand search, home page and RSS feed queries with additional post types of your choice.
Pro version of the plugin is updated for WordPress 3.2 compatibility, and now the Lite is also. Lite also got few more post types features for rewriting improvements, code that generates registration data for post types and taxonomies got updated and few cosmetic changes added.
Upcoming GD Star Rating 2.0 plugin is very, very different from previous (and still current) 1.x versions. And based on experience with current plugin, and from all the requests I got, I have compiled a list features that will be available in first release of GD Star Rating 2.0.
One of the great many features in GD Custom Posts And Taxonomies Tools Pro plugin, is added templates for post types and archives. But, WordPress 3.1 added own post type archives and things changed, causing problems with the templates added by the plugin.
WordPress 3.1 is released last week, and it’s not as big a release as previous WP 3.0 was, but still, has it’s own share of new features and many bug fixes that make this update highly recommended. So, here is the status of Dev4Press plugins and themes working under new WordPress.
xScape 1.5.5 is here, with no new features to speak of, but with numerous and very, very important changes. Almost all changes are to JavaScript/jQuery code used for xScape interface and improvements for complete compatibility with new upcoming WordPress 3.1.
