The most important step in debugging problems with the website (WordPess powered or any other) is to be able to get errors logged on the server side. This is not always as straightforward process as you might think and there are different approaches to have and find error logs.
Theme number 8, Focus is released. This is first xScape theme to feature new jQuery powered highly customizable Nivo slider. Theme has 14 color styles built in, allows for control panel background control and has different templates for both normal blog or magazine style layouts.
New major release of Pro edition of GD Press Tools is here, and this time it brings several very important security changes including full HTAccess control panel and 5 htaccess related features. Security status panel is also updated, and plugin also contains several minor fixes and changes.
First thing you need to take into consideration when security of the website is concerned is the server you host your website on. There are 3 main hosting type environments and depending on what you are using there are different security related concerns you must take into account.
Plugin development is back on track with new minor revision, and with many features planned, it will be very busy next 2-3 months. Also, new tutorials are added with few more coming soon. Documentation here is updated and more functions and shortcodes will be added to it.
Previously announced theme called FrameFX is close to completion, and the beta is expected during this week, and as usual will be available for testing on xScape.info. Several templates are still unfinished, but main focus is in creating special effects for blocks and layouts.
