New maintenance release for GD CPT Tools Pro 4.0 brings another batch of bugs fixed: custom post types icons not visible in admin menu on iPad and some other mobile devices, problems with select custom field type and few warnings with meta boxes and custom fields.
GD Custom Posts And Taxonomies Tools Pro 3.6.6 is released to fix the issue caused by some changes in WordPress 3.4 with Rewrite class. Because of that, custom permalinks for custom post types stopped working when upgraded to WordPress 3.4. Few more warnings are also fixed.
It is not fair only to point out what is not good with upcoming WordPress, as I did yesterday. There are many things WordPress need, and for some reason all that is completely overlooked by core developers, so I will list all those things that will actually make WordPress better.
Despite the date today, here is new major revision of GD Custom Posts And Taxonomies Tools Pro brings several new features and many improvements. New custom field type for web link or email is added, custom permalinks for single improved with examples and much more.
Minor release with few new features and all changes from previous few bug fixing releases. Plugin now has hooks to expand custom meta boxes rendering and direct filter support for Subscribe2 plugin notifications through another enhanced feature for all custom post types.
This is mixed bag release containing bug fixes, many updates and also new features. Plugin now supports new context help added in WordPress 3.3, taxonomy tagger has support for TagThe.net service and TinyMCE integration is fully rewritten to use native popup panel.
New GD Custom Posts And Taxonomies Tools Pro adds two new features as a preparation for next 3.3 plugin version. With this new version, custom fields can be marked as required, and plugin is using new WP editor added in WordPress 3.3 (in beta) for meta boxes with rich editors.
