Earlier this month I have published test of 35 plugins and their impact on the loading of WordPress. Based on interest for that article, I will not stop there. Each month new tests with more plugins will be conducted to help users and to help developers to make better plugins.
GD Press Tools Pro features number of methods to clean WordPress powered websites. Cleanup tools can be used for normal sites and also multisite/network based installations. Detailed cleanup can be done through Plugin Tools panel, dashboard widget or admin bar menu.
Brand new major version of GD Press Tools Pro is here. There are not many new things in this one, but it includes huge core changes by using modules for some of the elements of the plugin. Database, robots meta tags, cron and few other things are expanded with new features.
Brand new WordPress 3.2 is very important release, not so much because of the new features, but because it is a crossroads version that finally puts support for PHP4, mySQL 3/4 and MS IE6 (and IE7 will soon be gone) where they really belong: into history. Check your servers before upgrade!
There are many services on the Internet for tracking website visits and overall analytics, some are free, some not. More than a year ago, I have decided to try Clicky Web Analytics based on a recommendation, and now, it’s the only analytics system I am using for all my websites.
Another round of changes on Dev4Press has gone live, this time focusing on support forum and user dashboard. Both areas now use different header with smaller logo, focusing on the content, navigation in both sections and simpler and will make easier for users to find what they need.
As you might have noticed, this website has undergone some update and changes to improve visual and usability experience, give more info about products and make it easier to find information you may need to get support or decide on purchasing any of our products.
