Comments OffNew (and most likely last) release candidate for upcoming GD Press Tools 4.2 Pro is just released. This release candidate fixes several more bugs found in the past few days and we are now very, very close to stable release that right now is scheduled for August 18 2011.
Only days after major 1.6 version, here is new xScape Theme Framework 1.6.1. Some of the things I wanted improved for 1.6 didn’t make it in time, so I decided to make a quick update only few days later. This is important update that addresses mostly menus related features.
Almost a month ago, Dev4Press got it’s own server. All my other websites are on one server. Both servers are VPS machines hosted in VPS.NET cloud hosting. While both servers are very fast, there are still some performance issues that cause some downtime from time to time. Here is why.
Dev4Press has finally got new look, and it’s now using xScape framework based customized lightScape theme. Many of the website areas and pages are changed, using different layouts, offering simplified access to information without long navigation menus on the side as before.
WordPress.org offers interesting and not officially documented feature allowing you to get screenshots from any URL. There are not many options available, but for most things it will work just fine and save you a lot of time to make such sreenshots yourself. So, here is how to use it with xScape theme.
Dev4Press website transfer to new server is completed. I will be testing everything in the next few days to make sure that everything is working, and that some new server settings didn’t broke anything. If needed, website will be put in maintenance mode to fix the found issues.
Only few days after major 2.0 release, GD Custom Posts And Taxonomies Tools gets another Pro version that includes few fixes (widgets) and some very interesting new features. Lite version is also updated and cloud widget bug is now fixed, and few things updated.
