WordPress 3.0 is updated daily, and current development is changing things non stop. Since the previous versions of plugin from last week, things have changed again, and again in WP breaking the plugin. So, here are new versions that work with current WP.
As you see, GD Taxonomies Tools plugin is now renamed to GD Custom Posts And Taxonomies Tools. Since WordPress 3.0 adds support for Custom Post Types, and implementation is close to Custom Taxonomies, I decided to add that to existing plugin.
WordPress 3.0 is almost here, and the latest Beta 1 released last week is a good reference for what to expected. Some things were changed in the past 2 months with taxonomies in WP3, and here are new versions of GD Taxonomies Tools plugin to follow those changes.
Double release today for GD Taxonomies Tools, both Pro and Lite version. Both versions contain several minor fixes, but more importantly they are compatible with latest development build of WordPress 3.0 and changes core developers made to custom taxonomies handling.
Most blog powered by WordPress use ‘pretty’ links structure. This allows you to have hierarchical structure of the URL elements and that is much easier to read, and can even contribute to SEO results. And to achieve this WP adds rewrite code into htaccess.
