Menu designer allows you to create menus with custom elements that can include pages, categories, taxonomies, links, external URL’s… You can arrange them, set different properties and you can create as many menus as you want. Here is how this panel works.
In the past weeks, there were not many news here on Dev4Press. But that doesn’t mean that nothing is going on. So, this post is intended to be sort of a announcement of our plans for the period until the end of March including both plugins, themes and premium support.
Over the weekend I have updated all my websites to use latest WordPress 2.9, and I tried to test as many features as I can on different setups, with many different plugins and overall this is great release, but as usual, it’s not all good with this latest release.
With WordPress 2.8 we got another interesting feature called custom taxonomies. You can make taxonomies from anything you want and use them much like you already use tags and categories. Unfortunately, themes offer only partial support (unsolvable problem) for custom taxonomies, but it’s not that complicated to implement.
