Development plans: March, April & May 2013
There are many plans for further Dev4Press development, as always, but the time to do it is not enough, as always. For the next 3 months, there are things I plan to work on and here you can find out which projects will get major development focus and new releases.
Summer 2012 Special: Discounts and Gifts
From today, ending on September 1 2012, all Dev4Press plugins and themes (including GD Star Rating Premium Support license) will have special discount for 25%, and with each lifetime license for any of our Pro plugin or plugins pack, you will get free lifetime themes licenses.
Walkthrough: Themes Integration
To display data on frontend, plugin needs to work with the theme. And for that, it needs proper theme templates. Plugin includes direct support for some of the themes, and for all the others you can use existing templates with manual modifications, that is very easy to set up.
Cross-selling purchase discounts
For the past few weeks some of the products on Dev4Press were set to include cross-selling offers on checkout. But, starting today, all Dev4Press products include cross-selling offers that will go from 10% to 30% and it will be available only from ShareIt checkout page.
Updating Dev4Press website
It’s been a while since the Dev4Press website is redesigned, and it’s time to make some changes. The theme used will remain the same (lightScape), but will get new color scheme and few more visual improvements. Data organization will be changed a lot to rely fully on custom post types.
xScape Core Themes
A while back, we have introduced a concept of Core themes. In standard WordPress theme, Core theme is a child theme for a main theme called xScape Core. So far, we have 3 Core themes, and all the other old themes will be converted to Core version soon. Future themes will be Core only.
xScape Theme Framework 1.7.7
New maintenance release of xScape adds more changes and updates to bbPress support module, many updates and changes for templates loading, improvements to different framework elements and functions and several bug fixes. All themes will get new versions with new framework.
