Many changes are coming to Dev4Press website, and all will be deployed on Wednesday, September 19 2012. Upgrade process will start at 10:00 CET and should be over by 16:00 CET. During this period Dev4Press.com (including support forums and downloads) will be of-line.
Dev4Press.com website has gone through some maintenance last week, with few more things fixes added today. Plugins and themes support forums are updated with expanded topic forms and affiliates program information is improved and updated with few new rules and guidelines.
All changes I have planned for Dev4Press website are coming along nicely, and new set of changes is now live. This include more improvements to all major website areas, changes to RSS feeds, many more styling changes and special cross-selling available during checkout.
The past couple of weeks, a lot of things got changed on the Dev4Press: new things, improvements, styling cleanup. And, today, another very interesting and useful feature has gone live. And it is called: Feature of the Day. You can find them through menu item called F.o.t.D.
Dev4Press support forum was powered by bbPress standalone forum. Now, that changes and that is migrated to new and better bbPress 2.0 plugin forum. This is first among many changes that are coming to Dev4Press website. New features and more forum improvements are coming soon.
First part of planned changes on Dev4Press are now live and this includes support forum powered by bbPress 2.0 plugin. But, few more things are still planned and they will be rolled out in the next 2 weeks and that will include a major new website feature that I will keep as secret for now.
It’s been a while since the Dev4Press website is redesigned, and it’s time to make some changes. The theme used will remain the same (lightScape), but will get new color scheme and few more visual improvements. Data organization will be changed a lot to rely fully on custom post types.
Another round of changes on Dev4Press has gone live, this time focusing on support forum and user dashboard. Both areas now use different header with smaller logo, focusing on the content, navigation in both sections and simpler and will make easier for users to find what they need.
As you might have noticed, this website has undergone some update and changes to improve visual and usability experience, give more info about products and make it easier to find information you may need to get support or decide on purchasing any of our products.
Dev4Press and our other websites are very rarely down, but it’s a good idea to have a way to see the status of all of them in case you are having troubles accessing Dev4Press and other websites. Pingdom has added public status pages, and you can use it to see what is going on.
Number of visitors continues to increase on Dev4Press over the last couple of months, and I decided to make some more server changes to allow for more resources to be available to this website. Upgrade will be done today, and some downtime is to be expected.
Dev4Press has finally got new look, and it’s now using xScape framework based customized lightScape theme. Many of the website areas and pages are changed, using different layouts, offering simplified access to information without long navigation menus on the side as before.
