Second release candidate for GD Products Center Pro is now available. More bugs are fixed, many things are improved, styling for editor updated and import expanded with test import. It is very likely that this is last release candidate, and stable 1.0 will be out on Wednesday.
Warning: Plugin is not yet completed, and it is not recommended to use it on the live websites. Right now, from all the planned features for 1.0.0 release, plugin is 99% done. If you have problems with missing templates or broken pages, please run Cleanup operations from the plugin Tools -> Maintenance.
Release: With all the new added features that were not previously planned, plugin 1.0 release is delayed a bit. Current target date is
February 9 2012February 15 2012 . Plugin is in RC stage and bugs fixing is the only thing done until the release.
There are 4 bugs fixed in this version: broken rendering of the related pages, empty dimensions property in the products editor, missing messages for the tools operations and broken editor styling in some browsers. Editor styling is improved for better readability, some of the templates are improved. As for the data import, new option is added allowing to test the data file without actually importing it. Also, data validation for imported data is improved a bit.
Since the bug fixing is now critical, please make sure when reporting problems to include errors displayed, what were you exactly doing, what page is displayed, what template used. Without that, I am not sure if I can reproduce the problem. Also, make sure to use latest plugin version.
