GD Products Center 1.3 is currently in development and it will be released in about 4-5 days. Plans for the development have changed a bit in the last couple of weeks, and some things were necessary to go into development sooner. Plugin roadmap is updated to reflect this.
New GD Products Center will focus on the updating JavaScript and all used libraries, removal of more outdated code and improving products editor. To do this, old and outdated Thickbox dialogs are replaced with new WPDialog model. This was very important step that will allow more flexibility with some of the new planned features.
To allow interconnectivity with products and companies, all normal post types can now use metaboxes to link to companies and products. These metaboxes can be assigned to post types you want. Shortcodes can be used to display linked products and companies, and functions will be available also for use in templates.
Other changes will include improvements to filters, templates and other things. Also, reported bugs are fixed.
