In the past few days, I have updated plans for the next two versions of the GD bbPress Toolbox Pro plugin. Development roadmap is updated for May (version 3.7) and June (version 3.8) releases and updated list of planned features.

Version 3.7 will be smaller is scope, but it will bring some very much requested features: changing position of attachments and private checkbox in the topic/reply forms, changing how the plugin loads own JS/CSS files to improve experience for some non standard forums setups where plugin can’t directly detect bbPress pages. And, you will be able to change file caption for each uploaded file before upload.

Version 3.8 will bring canned replies (along with the control who will be able to use them), improvements to profile widget, locking for individual forums, attachments settings for individual forums and users capabilities assignment.

If you have any suggestions for the 3.7 and 3.8 versions, please let me know in the comments or through the support forums. The current plans are not set in stone, and it can change depending on the user requests.

    Hello,
with changing position of attachments do you mean that you are not going to use the default wordpress attachments of the posts or is only a design change? Thank you

Right now attachments form is added at the end of the topic/reply form, but many users asked if it can be placed higher in the form, so new version will allow changing position in the topic/reply form.
