Development for GD bbPress Toolbox Pro 4.6 is well underway, and if everything goes as planned, it will be released on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. This version will bring new features and some very important core changes.
Development plans for GD bbPress Toolbox Pro include a great many changes to the core of the plugin that will be split into several versions. The first wave of this changes in coming to version 4.6:
- Changes in the way plugin load JavaScript and CSS files.
- JavaScript and CSS files full reorganization.
- Changes to the database queries related to threaded replies.
- Partial reorganization of the code in some modules.
- Big performance optimization for new posts queries.
And, there are many new things this version will bring:
- BuddyPress support for Extended Profile and Signature editing (and removal of old BuddyPress signature edit code).
- New posts widget has new option to limit posts to some forums only.
- Improvements and new options for the Forum Statistics block.
- Many improvements to the unread replies support.
- Show marks about new topics in the forums lists.
