The most requested feature for GD Quantum Theme Pro in the past few months is the ability to change the layout of the forum index page to show grouped forums list. That, and more interesting features and tweaks are coming in version 3.0 soon.
The first beta version of the upcoming 3.0 is expected next week. Version 3.0 is planned for release in the first week of September 2021.
Most forums follow the basic structure, using top-level forum categories, and each category contains one or more forums. When that is the case, the grouped view of the forums is highly beneficial, where each top-level category get’s own full forums list, like on the image above.
GD Quantum Theme Pro 3.0 for bbPress includes classic and this new Categorized layout for the main forums index page. And, if some of the forums don’t have subforums, all these will be listed at the end of the page as before. Forum groups will have additional settings and tweaks.
The plugin will also get many more new Customizer options and tweaks for various other things (also based on user requests), and there are major improvements in the plugin styling.
