Here is the new, major release of GD Custom Posts And Taxonomies Tools Pro that adds several more special features for post types and support for many more new template types for post types and date archives. Post template support is implemented for normal post and custom post types.
Plugin adds support for new templates for single posts (normal and custom, based on ID and slug) and date archives (based on time periods). Full list of new templates added is in this tutorial. Similar to page templates, plugin allow adding of post templates. Tutorial for them is coming in a couple of days. xScape Theme Framework 1.5.2 supports all new templates, and will allow creating them from Layout Manager.
For custom post type, a new special feature allows you to include post types in search results alongside normal posts. Also, settings panel is updated with new options and bit reorganized.
