New major revision of the GD Pages Navigator 5.1 brings new display method called Selection. It is quite simple: select pages from the hierarchy you want displayed, and only these pages will be in the list, everything else will be ignored. Standard settings apply to this list.
With this new method, plugin has 4 display methods for pages. If you have some more ideas how to display pages, please leave the comment here or in the new topic in the forum.
