GD Custom Posts And Taxonomies Tools 4.2 Pro

New major version of GD Custom Posts And Taxonomies Tools Pro 4.2 brings several new features, fixes several bugs (warnings and two critical issues), updates to the metabox and custom fields implementation, and few minor tweaks for recently released WordPress 3.6.

Plugin adds new rewrite rules type to display index page for taxonomy terms. This page can be used to list all available terms for the given taxonomy. It allows for use with the post type as an intersection. This also adds theme templates that can be used for these type of pages. As for the templates, plugin has expanded list of intersection templates allowing different combinations of taxonomies and post types for better intersection targeting. Updated list of added templates is in this tutorial.

Main WordPress Query object (global $wp_query instance) is expanded with several new properties for intersection and terms index pages. This can be used for better way of detecting if you are on one of these extra pages added by the plugin. As for other changes, plugin now has options to disable any of 3 added widgets, rewrite rules generator is improved, meta handling expanded and better organized.

On September 1 2013, plugin will get its second module called Fields. This module will add 4 more custom field types to the plugin. And xScape Theme Framework 1.9.4 that supports all new template pages added by this plugin will be release next week.

As always, if you find any more problems, please report them in the forums.
