GD Clever Widgets Pro 1.1 is a first plugin update that brings two more widgets (Enhanced Calendar and Video Playlists), POT translation ready file, updated styling for most widgets and options to disable default WordPress widget if you want to use only enhanced widgets from this plugin.
Only few days after initial version, here is the first update and 2 new widgets. Enhanced Calendar is expanded from default WordPress Calendar with support for custom post types, custom month display, display customization, full custom style, expanded calendar markup to allow for better styling. You can see this widget in the sidebar here, try it out.
Second widget is Video Playlists. This is fairly simple widget: you can add number of URL’s to videos on YouTube, Vimeo or any other website that WordPress supports for oEmbed. If you add URL’s that are not supported, it will be removed. You can set display (number of videos, randomization) and size for embedding.
Many styles for other widgets are updates, some parts of the code reorganized and options to disable some of the WordPress default widgets. More widgets are added to plugin roadmap for the next few months, and you can expect one new release each month. Many more widgets are coming.
