GD Custom Posts And Taxonomies Tools 4.3.1 Pro

New minor version of GD Custom Posts And Taxonomies Tools Pro 4.3.1 brings number of bugs fixed, some updates and changes: Google Maps custom field is now fixed, some terms suggestion issues are fixed and term extraction libraries are updated and replaced.

Term suggestion integration into metaboxes for Tags now use new Yahoo Extraction API, and now dead TagThe.net service is removed from the plugin.

I am behind on the development of new plugin module, and I will try to finish it in the next 2-3 weeks. Also, I am in the process of making new plugin admin interface to make it closer to the look of WP and make it simpler in some regards.

As always, if you find any more problems, please report them in the forums.

  1. Hi I can’t write in the forum
but I can’t use your plugin and the plugin wp-help
if I use both, all “edit” articles of wp-help get “normal” posts
if I deactivate your plugin wp-help works like a charme

    what do I wrong?

    • Hi,

When you login into forum, it happens that browsers don’t refresh page properly and it shows you as not logged. Just refresh page (F5) and it will be OK.

As for your problem, I need more information on exactly how did you setup my plugin: did you made changes to post type added by WP-Help? I will test both plugins to check out if there is a compatibility problem.

      Regards,
      Milan

    • I don’t see any difference in behavior of WP Help plugin with GD Custom Posts And Taxonomies Pro active or inactive. Can you post some screenshots of the problem, or something to document what is wrong?

    • You are sure you can’t post in this forum:
      http://support.dev4press.com/forums/forum/plugins/gd-taxonomies-tools/
and you are logged with the account you made the purchase with?

As for the problem, I don’t understand what is happening at all. WP Help uses normal WP post editor, only it has editor and publish metaboxes. How it looks like for you and how it should look like? Can you make screenshots. As I said, I tested it, and it looks fine either way.

  3. I create a new wp-help article ==> all is fine
    I like to “edit” it
than I have a “post type” menu at the right side => why?
and after “safe”, the wp-help article is a new “article” but never at wp-help article

    • OK, I get it now. This is added by the GD Custom Posts And Taxonomies, and you must have enabled it. To disable it open plugins Settings panel, Metaboxes tab and find checkbox (third from top): ‘Add meta box allowing change of post type for posts’, disable it and save settings. WP Help adds very strange post type with some settings missing, so this Post Type metabox is not detecting it right.

  4. oh my goodness

this was the only “enable” setting on this settingspage
thanks a lot for figure out my blindness 🙂

now both are working like a charme and I know about the “missing settings by wp-help , but it is not my choice….

🙂 thanks for your patience and kindness
