Dev4Press Updater 3.4 is a new major version that brings few improvements, and also removes the support for Dev4Press themes installation and update – only plugins can be installed and updated using this plugin.
Since Dev4Press is no longer selling themes, there is no point on keeping and maintaining themes support in the Updater plugin. All that unused code is not removed from the Dev4Press Updater, and few things are improved and enhanced. Dev4Press sign logo is updated to use new color scheme. The plugin is fully tested and working with WordPress 4.7.
To avoid Updater related issues, next year an update process will be modified to prevent old Updater versions to access the update system. More on that will be announced in January.
