GD Security Toolbox Pro 1.6: Nike

GD Security Toolbox Pro 1.6 is the new update for this WordPress security plugin focused mainly on improving the Content Security Policy support, with few more updates and fixes.

Content Security Policy (or CSP) is a very important part of the protection for your website users from loading of the suspicious resources – scripts, styles, images, frames… GD Security Toolbox Pro includes a very powerful addon for generating CSP, and with version 1.6 it has gotten some important updates.

First major change is the support for automatic rules. If you use Google Adsense, you basically need to add 100+ Google domains (for different geo locations) into CSP. And, so now, you can simply select which external services you use, and the plugin will add CSP rules automatically. CSP implementation now has few new elements and options, and some deprecated elements are removed.

This version includes various updates to the plugin settings, external libraries, and Dev4Press shared code library, some minor under the hood updates and some bug fixes.

If you notice any problems with the plugin, stop by the support forums to report it. Let me know what you think about the new version, and as always, suggestions are welcome.
