Dev4Press and our other websites are very rarely down, but it’s a good idea to have a way to see the status of all of them in case you are having troubles accessing Dev4Press and other websites. Pingdom has added public status pages, and you can use it to see what is going on.

Pingdom has done great job in creating public status pages, and here you can see the overview of the status page, and you can see details for each website individually including response time and other data:
In the past 40 days since we Dev4Press was moved to Hostgator VPS server, site was offline twice: once was server kernel update restart, and second one was intentional maintenance mode for upgrading to WP 3.1 last week.
So, just in case, add the monitor URL to bookmarks and check out what is going own if you can’t access Dev4Press or our other websites.
