You cannot remove the admin-bar from the dashboard because the screen options, the help tab, the network link and the current user links are merged there.

I just tried latest build. It’s good. I really love new menu and drag’n’drop uploader.

I rarely use this admin bar and I thinks many people is also. But if it’s customizable, I may change.

I really hope that something will change about admin bar and that we will get a bit more flexibility. My GD Press Tools Pro can disable it in WP 3.3 with current version, but than you loose some options like Screen Options or Help. We will see how this will go over next 2 months until final is released.

I love new Plupload, but hate “New admin bar can’t be disabled from Profile page for admin side anymore.”.
