After several months of development and testing, new major release of GD Press Tools Pro is here. Version 4.2 has a long changelog, but focus in this one is new backup module, new auto tagger module, Sucuri free security scan, many bugs fixed and many improvements to rest of the plugin.
It was awhile since the last version of the my modded edition of HeadScape plugin. And this new gdHeadSpace4 4.1 one ads few custom post types related features (support for archives, embedding meta boxes) and it has several very important bugs fixed with meta tags rendering.
First release candidate for GD Press Tools 4.2 Pro is here. With more bugs fixed (sucuri scan, tasks editor, process log for backup tasks and email notifications), updated translation strings, this version adds very important new feature: script to restore or clone full backup archives.
More changes are in for another Beta version of GD Press Tools Pro 4.2. New Beta #3 brings many fixes to backup module (email sending, tasks editor, process log), cron scheduler and XML sitemaps generator, and also adds brand new module for Sucuri Free Security Scan
No, it’s not a mistake, new GD Press Tools will have version number 4.2. And the first Beta version is here bringing all planned features very close to release status. All features should be working now, and I expect only smaller bugs remaining. Stable version will be released soon.
With more bugs fixed, mostly in the Backup module and with File Manager, and more minor changes and code cleanup, interface improvements, this will be last Alpha version. As planned, Beta #1 will be out by the end of this week, with Final version coming out next week.
Some more testing revealed several bugs, and also some bugs were reported in the forum, so here is another Alpha release with many bugs fixed and more improvements to the interface. There are still few known issues that will be fixed in upcoming versions (Beta and Final).
This latest Alpha release is delayed more than I wanted too, but it is now here bringing many more changes (improved debugger, interface changes, code cleanup) and most importantly reworked Backup panel and brand new SEO panel (replacing old Meta panel).
Here is the latest maintenance release for GD Custom Posts And Taxonomies Tools Pro plugin that includes several bugs fixed (including missing taxonomy columns from the page and other hierarchical post types editor grids) and few other minor changes and improvements.
Another quick update that adds two very interesting enhanced features for post types (both custom and default) to add menu items for quick link to scheduled and draft posts. Also, this version includes few minor features and updated jQuery UI library to version 1.8.14.
New plugin version includes several improvements: more widget options and more rendering changes to widgets used functions, color custom fields for meta boxes with easy to use color picker control and several minor changes and fixes with more updates for WordPress 3.2.
