Setup For hCaptcha

To setup the hCaptcha for your website, you need to have a hCaptcha account. hCaptcha has different account types, and you can start with Free account, depending on your needs, you can later upgrade to paid tiers, if you want to use some advanced features as well.

Login to hCaptcha Dashboard

Login into the hCaptcha Dashboard. You will see statistics for your websites, and you have button to add new site.

Register new hCaptcha website

The form to add new website, requires you to set the name first, followed by one or more domains. You can add multiple domains under single website.

Second part of the setup includes settings. For Free account, you can’t change the Mode, it is set to Always Challenge, but you can set the passing threshold.

Getting the website integration keys

When the new website is added, the list of sites shows the Site keys, and you can copy the key from there.

To get the Secret Key, you need to open your profile settings, and you have Secret section. This key can be generated every day, but make sure to copy it when generated, or you will not be able to see it again.
