Users Administration

This feature integrates deeper into WordPress Users panel. This works for normal and multisite installations. In multisite, plugin integrates into both network Users panel and Users panel for individual blogs.

Currently, this feature has two major aspects: additional columns for the Users panel, and dialog for control over users account activity.

Additional Columns

Columns will be added to either replace default columns with improved functionality and can be related to security, or to add things that can be useful from security standpoint.

The columns added by the plugin are:

  • Posts: replaces default column, but it shows posts count for every post type, not Posts only.
  • Comments: shows comments count.
  • Registration: replaces default column, shows exact date and time when the user account is registered.
  • Website URL: shows the website URL that user added for his account.
  • Description: shows full or partial description (limited to 250 characters).

Having easy overview of all this data can help you to decide to deactivate or even remove user account.

Control Dialog

Right now, this dialog allows you to disable user accounts, or enable previously disabled accounts. Disabled accounts will be logged out from all active sessions, the password can be replaced with random one, and you can also bad username, email or email domain.

More information is available in the dedicated tutorial.
