Visitors Redirect

If the visitor or use lands on a forum page that it has no access to it, bbPress will generate 404 page. With redirect feature GD bbPress Toolbox Pro allows setting redirections to some other page to avoid showing 404 message.

Notice: some of the settings in Visitors Redirect feature are in conflict with Not Found feature. You can only use one or the other for private and hidden forums and topics.

Redirect Types

There are several redirect types available:

• Redirect Visitors: any visitor (not-logged in) trying to access any forum page
• Redirect hidden forums access attempts: failed attempt to access hidden forums
• Redirect private forums access attempts: failed attempt to access private forums
• Redirect blocked users: users with Blocked use role trying to access any forum page
• Redirect topics with no access: failed attempt to access any topic without access rights

First option basically locks the forums and allows only logged-in users to access it.

Each redirection method has several settings.

You can have redirection to login page or to custom URL, with option to specify custom URL.
