BBCodes

With BBCodes feature, plugin implements standard and expanded set of BBCodes with additional settings related to some of the BBCodes.

BBCodes Settings

It is very important to setup the BBCodes properly, and the best place to start is feature settings page.

Main Settings

You have few very important settings here, starting with the notice you can include with topic and reply forms.

Most important thing here is limiting BBCodes to bbPress content only. If this is disabled, BBCodes will be processed for content in every post type in WordPress.

If you are using BuddyPress Nuovo templates, BBCode for Italic can cause the problem with some elements of the BuddyPress using underscore templates to render. To avoid that, you need to enable this option, or disable Italic BBCode.

And, if user uses some shortcodes that are not allowed for the user role, you can choose what will happen with such content. Changes will be made on saving the content, and if the user entered content with BBCode not allowed for the user role, that will be removed or replaced.

BBCode: Hide

This BBCode is used to hide content on page, and reveal it only when user fulfills the hiding requirement. For each version of the HIDE BBCode you have individual settings for message displayed hiding the content.
