How can I update credit card for subscription license renewal?
To update a payment method for all licenses purchase via Freemius (or from January 17, 2025), you can go to your account page to see all the active subscriptions, and for each subscription, you can change the payment method.
MyCommerce Legacy Licenses
If your license was purchased as a subscription through MyCommerce, all those subscriptions have been canceled because MyCommerce has stopped operating.
Why is tax added to the checkout price?
Various countries require the collection of value-added taxes for online sales. Some countries issue corporate VAT IDs, and if you use that ID during checkout, VAT will not be applied to the price. Depending on the country, VAT can also be known as GST (goods and services tax).

Where can I get the invoice for my purchase?
All licenses purchased from January 17, 2025 (or before through Freemius integration) are listed in your account, and from there, you can download every available invoice.
MyCommerce Legacy Licenses
If you purchased a license before January 17, 2025, you paid it through MyCommerce. MyCommerce was an old merchant of record for Dev4Press licenses, and as such, they issued the invoices. Because MyCommerce has filed for bankruptcy and stopped operations, there is no way to get invoices from them at this time, but that may change.
But, the invoice is sent via email with every license purchase, so you should check your emails and find the MyCommerce email related to the license purchase that has an invoice PDF file.
What types of payment do you accept?
Freemius uses Stripe and PayPal and, therefore, accepts all major credit cards and PayPal payments.
Do you store my credit card information?
We don’t receive or store any credit card information during your purchase. Transactions are handled completely by Freemius, and we never see any credit card numbers or other secure information about your payment method. Even Freemius doesn’t have credit card information stored.
I don’t live in EU, why is VAT added on the checkout to the purchase price?
The system for detecting your country depends on the geolocation system to determine from which country the purchase is made. This is mostly done through IP country detection. But, if you are using a VPN service and you set VPN to mask your IP with some EU country, during checkout, you will be detected in that country, and VAT will be added. When making a purchase, do not use a VPN.

Payment taxes
After one day, why I have still not received emails from Dev4Press?
Dev4Press website sends license emails and product download information within minutes after the payment company processes the purchase. If you don’t get these emails for more than 24 hours, there are two usual reasons:
- Your email client software has classified Dev4Press as spam or junk, and you should check your Spam/Junk folder in email client for emails sent from Dev4Press Support <support@dev4press.com>.
- Your email provider has blacklisted Dev4Press.com and refuses to accept and deliver emails sent from Dev4Press.com. In that case, use the Contact Form and we will contact you from other email address about product delivery.
How long will take until the payment is processed?
Payment processing depends on the payment method and will be completed within a few seconds to a few minutes, but in some extreme cases, it can take few hours. Our merchant of record, Freemius, will send you emails as soon as the purchase has been completed. Or they will contact you with additional information.
