In the past two days, many plugins and addons have received new releases. In most cases, it was regular maintenance updates, PHP 7.4 updates, bug fixing updates and several minor new features for some plugins.
Version 5.8.9 should be the last one in the 5.8 branch, and in the next few days, work will start on the next major 5.9 version, scheduled for the end of April 2020. Version 5.8.9 is a maintenance release with few updates and fixes.
