DebugPress 2.0

DebugPress plugin was first released in September of 2020, and now has reached version 2.0, after many minor updates released in the past two years. So, what has changed in these two years, and how DebugPress has evolved?

Legacy widgets in Gutenberg Widgets Panel

Since WordPress 5.8, the Widgets panel has been replaced with new Blocks Based Widgets Panel. WordPress includes a universal Legacy Widget Block that can wrap the normal/legacy widgets for use inside the block editor.

Changes to system requirements for plugins

In September, the GD bbPress Toolbox Pro plugin will get a brand new version, 7.0, which will also mark significant updates to the system requirements for all future updates to all Dev4Press plugins. This will reflect both PHP and WordPress requirements.

SweepPress Pro 2.0

SweepPress Pro 2.0 is a major update, and the first one to start bringing a series of features that will be exclusive to the Pro edition only. The first such feature is the Sweeper Monitor. This version also fixes several bugs and includes other improvements.

The new major release for GD Press Tools Pro, version 6.2 is here, and it brings some major changes. First of all, the plugin has two addons less, one addon is added and one more addon has been deprecated (but still included for now).

Today is the GD bbPress Toolbox Pro’s tenth birthday! And, to celebrate, here is a new minor release, the last one in the current branch, because the work has started on the major 7.0 version scheduled to drop in about 5-6 weeks.
