Minor 3.5.5 version of GD bbPress Toolbox Pro is now released. This version deal with some bugs found with Signatures module and with some new features and settings related to Signatures to improve the way they are edited and displayed.
Two major issues were reported with editing signatures, and both are now fixed. Signature was not properly processed for editing on the admin side profile edit, causing issue with HTML markup. And, when admins edit other users with BuddyPress profile, wrong signature was used for editing. To make signature display more inline with TinyMCE editor practices, plugin now has option to enable or disable ‘WP Auto P’ filter for signature content. With that, plugin can also run chars conversion on signature for some special character and markup errors (like WP does for normal content). These two and conversion to smilies are added as settings on the Signature panel, and all 3 are enabled by default, and you can disable them if you want.
Work will soon start on new 3.6 version. There are few requested features that will make it’s way into new version, and they are already on the roadmap, with few more features considered too. New version is expected for first half of March 2015.
