SweepPress, version 7.0 (both Lite and Pro), is a major update that brings one new management tool for managing attachments in media library, new shared library, new Freemius SDK, various improvements and fixes.
New tool included in 7.0 is a Manager for the Media Library. It features background scanner, that will scan all the attachments in the database, search for the files they should have, search for them inside the posts content, find if they are attached or featured with any post, and show the results in 3 tables: attachments missing files, attachments with broken meta records (and with that invalid) and attachments not used in any post on the website. You can remove attachments, and backup is supported as well. More changes are in the pipeline for this feature as well.
Plugin has a new dashboard panel with shortcuts to all the major tools, it has many other improvements to the interface, improved styling and added linting for styling and JavaScript as well. Full security audit has been done on the plugin code base, and various changes are made to improve overall security. There are some bugs fixed as well.
Both Dev4Press shared library and Freemius SDK are updated to latest versions.
