About unforeseen delays in development

As you have noticed, the previously announced development and release plans have all been broken, and several important releases are still not released. The whole program has been delayed by about 3 or more months.

I don’t like talking about my private life, and I want to focus on WordPress plugins and development here. Unfortunately, my private life has caused so many delays, and I feel obligated to share some information with you and explain what is going on and what you can expect in the next few months while the previous plans are getting back on track.

Since September, I have had bad luck with numerous health issues, including COVID, various health issues problems with my family (both my wife and son); and on top of that, last month, my father died after a short battle with cancer. So, a lot of things hit all in a short period; I have had weeks where I hardly did any work. Right now, the health issues are finally starting to improve, and I have started working a bit more, and I hope to get back on track in early December.

In the past two months, I managed to release a few updates to various plugins, and I have tried to be active in the support forums, and various problems were resolved there, and a few additional updates are coming this week and the next. So, as usual, bug fixing and releases for that are coming at, more or less, the usual pace.

The major development work planned for this year: GD bbPress Toolbox Pro, GD Quantum Theme Pro, and GD Rating System Pro are delayed a lot. GD bbPress Toolbox Pro and GD Quantum Theme Pro will be released by the end of the year. GD Rating System Pro is now pushed to February of 2023.

I hope you understand what has been happening and that I will do my best to get back on track and deliver many great releases in the coming months and years. Thank you for all your support.

Please wait...
