The end of 2023 brings a significant change in the pricing structure for most Dev4Press plugins, and the base prices for many plugins (including our most popular GD bbPress Toolbox Pro plugin) are lower than ever before.
The goal of these changes is to make the pricing structure simpler and to have some of the more pricier plugins more affordable. The licensing system remains the same, with four tiers (Single, Freelance, Studio, and Agency) and the same license use per domain. And you can still get an annual subscription, one-year, and lifetime licenses.
The biggest pricing change in years brings lower base prices for most of our plugin licenses, a lower base price for the bbPress Plugins Club license, and an overall, simplified pricing structure, where plugins have three base price points: $29, $39 and $49. Before, we had plugins with a base price of $59 and $69; now, that is no longer the case, and a single plugin license can now be $49 at the most. GD bbPress Toolbox Pro had a base price of $59 for a single domain license, and with the new price changes, the base price for that plugin is $49. Our brand new security plugin, coreSecurity Pro, now also has a base price of $49.
bbPress Plugins Club license had a base price of $149, but that is now lowered to $129, and that license currently includes six plugins (valued at $194) and will soon get the plugin for forums moderation that will have a base price of $49. bbPress Club license will remain at $129 even after the new plugin is added, for a total of 7 plugins valued at $243, almost 50% in savings with one license.
This price adjustment also affected the Lifetime licenses, which are now all using the same formula (previously, it was rather confusing how the prices were calculated for lifetime licenses). In turn, most lifetime prices have remained at the same level; for some licenses, the lifetime price has increased slightly.
All the new prices are in effect already, and the plugin pages are listing the new prices. For 2024, there are no current plans to make price changes.
