Dev4Press Website, Version 11

The updated Dev4Press.com website is now available. In the past three weeks, work has been done to change the website’s structure and improve many visual, SEO, and internal elements.

The main goal of this update was to improve the content organization, consolidate much of the content to the main website, simplify navigation, add social network registration and login capabilities, stop using subdomains (except the support forum, which will remain on support.dev4press.com), improve styling, and fix many styling issues with small devices.

The most immediate change is using the main menu that will stick on top when scrolling and expanding the navigation to include more links to various parts of the website. Login, Signup, and Account links are included in the main menu and are more prominent than before. Secondary navigation is now removed. The menu has been restyled and better optimized for smaller screens.

All the plugins and all the addons have been moved to the main domain. The goal was to better integrate the content, blog, knowledge base, and plugins and addons information. All old URLs and subdomains have been permanently redirected to the new ones. The Knowledge Base has been moved from the Support subdomain to the main domain. It has been better integrated into various other elements, has a new landing page, improved all other pages with easier navigation, and much more. Information about club memberships has now been added to the main website, and landing pages have been updated, too.

User Account management has also been moved to the main website, and we now have a social login that supports Google, Twitter/X, Facebook, WordPress.com, GitHub, and LinkedIn accounts. Via the Account Profile page, you can link your existing accounts to any of the supported login methods and later login with linked accounts instead of the username or password.

Support forums remain on the support.dev4press.com subdomain. They have also been updated with many styling and display tweaks and have a new landing page to start searching the forums or find the plugin you need support with.

To celebrate the launch of the new website, we have a special promotion running until the end of this month with a 20% discount for all plugins, addons, and membership licenses. More information is available on the promotion page.

Please comment on the changes and let me know if you have any suggestions on how to improve the Dev4Press website further.
