New GD Knowledge Base Pro 2.4 expands on the search of the knowledge base by adding dedicated search results page support. This new major version includes many more updates and bugs fixes.
With previous plugin versions, the live search was displaying results in the drop down, but when you used Search button to show all results, the plugin will load normal WordPress search results page. This changes now and new knowledge base search page will show properly formatted knowledge base and support forums results. You can configure search page slug, the number of results to display, and new page type is supported by theme compatibility mode. Both example child themes are updated to support new plugin features.
Other changes include improvements to default styling, various code improvements, and cleanup, updated JS/CSS files minification and some minor updates to widgets. As for the bugs, fixes include some theme compatibility issues, some outdated functions calls, some issues with the search form and few other issues.
